Dear parishioners and friends,
I hope you have had many blessings and holiness during the days of Lent and Holy Week and celebrate Easter with great joy. I thank you for your participation in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Masses and the Triduum Liturgy.
I would like to the Liturgical Committee, all Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and all Choirs, for doing such a great job on the liturgy. I also want to thank the small groups, families, and individuals, who took their time to come out to clean and decorate the church in preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Many thanks to all those who donated Easter Flowers, which enrich the Church in a more meaningful and joyful event.
Please join us and the whole parish in celebrating the Divine Mercy Sunday (next Sunday, the Second Sunday of Easter). In fact, the Diary of St. Faustina is filled with invitations from our Lord Jesus Christ to celebrate with Him the great Feast of The Divine Mercy. The devotion to the Divine Mercy will hold in our Church on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2021 as follow:
-SATURDAY, April 10:
*4:45PM: Recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Vigil Mass at 5:00PM (English)
-SUNDAY, April 11”: DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
*7:10AM: - Recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Mass at 7:30PM (Vietnamese)
*8:45AM: Recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Mass at 9:00PM (English)
*10:10AM: Recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Mass at 10:30PM (Vietnamese)
The Sacrament of Confession will be administered half an hour before each mass on that Saturday evening and Sunday morning. To ensure that you would observe this day with intense devotion, the Supreme Pontiff himself established that this Sunday be enriched by a “Plenary Indulgence”, so that you might receive in great abundance the gift of the consolation of the Holy Spirit. In this way, you can foster a growing love for God and for your neighbor, and after you have obtained God's pardon, you in turn might be persuaded to show a prompt pardon to your brothers and sisters. Please invite your relatives and friends to celebrate this Feast of Divine Mercy.
Best Wishes for a Blessed Easter!
